2025 GSC Camp Scholarships
GSC loves offering summer camp opportunities to all the kiddos! It’s a solid week of fun, laughter, and growing deeper in their relationship with Jesus. We also know it can be expensive, especially when you have multiple children.
GSC is here to help with financial scholarships…and ones that aren’t based on financial need but rather participation in church, a descriptive essay, or community service.
All applications should be turned in to Holly BEFORE March 1st. Scholarship notifications will go out in April, along with the scholarship code.
How many scholarships are available?
- 10 kids at 100% scholarship
- 10 kids at 50% scholarship
How to apply:
1. Participation – 50% scholarship
b. 75% participation in family ministry events, Sunday school, etc 9/1/24-3/1/25
2. Essay – 100% scholarship
b. Essay about why they want to go to camp, what they hope to get out of it, etc.
i. Three paragraph minimum for elementary
ii. Five paragraph minimum for youth
c. Reflective essay upon returning from camp, due September 1st
i. No minimum, focus on what they learned and got out of camp
3. Community Service – 100% scholarship (confirmands can not count these hours for
confirmation requirements)
b. Completion of 10 hours of community service
i. Fill out and submit service log
c. Promise of 10 more hours by September 1st
i. Failure will result in paying GSC
GSC students will receive priority.
Special circumstances can be discussed with Holly prior to the application deadline.
