DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY
We are all at different stops along our spiritual journey. Everyone’s step forward and closer to Christ is very unique…very personal. We all have a “next step” on our Discipleship Pathway.
First, you begin with a spiritual assessment. Where do you fit into the Christian life? Are you starting (crawling), growing (walking), or maturing (running)?
As you mature, you begin to shift your thoughts from what we need to the needs of others. Before we can “go and make disciples” (The Great Commission), we need to spend time learning about Jesus.
Faith 101
April 3 - May 15 // 10am
Room 137
Bible 101 is a short seven-week tour through the Bible. We cover the Old Testament books of Law, History, Poetry and Prophecy by identifying who wrote each book, the time period, the audience, the purpose and key events. In addition, we cover the importance of these books as they relate to the New Testament. At that point, we work our way through the Gospels, Pauline Epistles, and other letters written by New Testament leaders as we continue to weave our way through scripture to Revelation of Jesus Christ, the final prophecy.
This is a fast-paced narrative with some interesting fun-facts about scripture. It is tailored to those who want to know more about scripture or would like a quick refresher. No required reading, handouts are provided, and questions are always welcome.

Are you new to prayer, struggling with prayer, or an “old hat” at prayer?
Join Faith 201 starting in November as there will be something for everyone. The group will go from the basics of prayer to “Prayer Outside The Box”.
Here you will learn that God wants us to pray and that He does pray over us. The four sessions held at 10:00 AM Sunday mornings starting November 7th will include knowing the purpose of prayer, essential components of prayer, prayer is a “no fear zone”, learning new ways to pray, prayer isn’t always for words, and all of the ways you never thought of prayer.
Join the group and discover what you might have been missing about prayer. This class is lead by Judy Billings.
