Do you know that literally thousands of units of blood or blood products have been needed to treat the folks directly associated with our church. Then add to that the people in our neighborhood, our work, our schools, etc. that have faced life threatening needs for blood. It makes the need real knowing how close it is to us. One unit of blood can be broken down to save THREE lives.
