Ash Wednesday emphasizes two themes: our sinfulness before God and our human mortality. The service focuses on both themes, helping us realize that both have been triumphed through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Tim shares a message titled “I Almost Got Away With It”. There will be an option of ashes placed on your forehead or hand as a symbolic gesture. The sanctuary choir will share in worship. All children will have their own lesson after the imposition of ashes where they will make their own pretzels in another symbolic act.
