Advent & Christmas Eve at Good Shepherd Church

The Christmas season seems to be about so many different things, but there is one main thing that this season must be about – our Savior God.  Our Advent-Christmas sermon series, “The Season of Our Savior,” will focus our attention for the preparation for the coming of Christ, our Savior, the Light of the world.  In our hectic modern world, it’s easy to get distracted, and the Christmas music on the radio and decoration in the stores tend to increase our anxiety.  The world may move too fast, but we can slow down.  God’s Word in this series will aid us in celebrating Advent as it is needs to be celebrated.
And then, when Christmas arrives, we can greet Christ our Savior with joy.

Wishing you a blessed Advent journey,
Pastor Tim Dilley

A special part of this year’s traditional celebration will be a mini-musical focused on the lighting of the advent wreath presented by a vocal ensemble and accompanied by a small group of professional instrumentalists and bells.  Pastor Tim will share a meditation, “A Season of Quiet Fulfillment,” and we will celebrate the Light of the World with flameless candles, which is yours to keep.

You are requested to make reservations by signing up at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX or contacting the church office at 260.483.8816.  For safety, reservations are limited to 50 people for each service. Please know that each service will be livestreamed on our Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.
