Build Your Community

Humans are meant to be in friendships. God made us to be part of something bigger than ourselves. You have the chance to make your village here at Good Shepherd, to find people who “just get you”, to find people to support you during difficult times, to find people to simply enjoy life with.

There are many ways to build your community and make life-long friends.

1. Join a L.I.F.E. Group - With ten different Groups formed and more to come, there is a place for you to jump in with your busy schedule or your preferred interests.

2. Volunteer - Volunteering gets a bad rap. It is not a dark rabbit hole. It is your chance to give back to God with your time & talents. You have the chance to use your awesome organizing skills. You have the chance to touch the life of a child and show him/her the light of Jesus. You have the chance to play a joyful tune in song. Volunteering is not an abyss; it’s where you show the love of Jesus to others.
